TCAT at Capital Health Hopewell Sept. 11th - Dec. 31st (EVENT)

The Trenton Community A-Team (TCAT) of talented local artists is adding its art to the Healing Arts program at Capital Health in Hopewell from the free show opener and reception on October 11th from 5-6 pm at the Capital Health Medical Center in Hopewell (Investors Bank Healing Gallery on the second floor). The gallery art show runs through December 31, 2023. The unique TCAT program provides financial and other support to its growing list of self-taught local artists who earn income from the artwork they produce and sell through TCAT (http:www.tcateam.org)..

The 5 pm October 11th reception kicks off with Foundation Executive Director Jennifer Antinoro who introduces Eugene McMahon chair of the Healing Arts Committee and includes an address by Tony Cantanese, TCAT director of its arts studio at 51 North Stockton St., the first arts group to help revitalize the Old Trenton Neighborhood. Led by long-time TCAT artists Shorty Rose, Lisa Lewis, Carol Johnson, Dolores Frails, Ethel Mack and Charles Smith, the gallery includes works by Warhceerah Kilima as well as new TCAT artists Claudia Moeller, Gianna Smith and Tyrese Douglas among others.
